Rates
Current rates as of January 1st, 2009:
- full-time: $150/wk
- part-time: $75/wk (up to 25 hours per week)
- back-up care: $4/hr
- overnights: $30 (example: 7pm - 8am next morning)
- drop-ins: $4/hr ($6/hr for two children)
Payment Plan: Parents are required to pay for the time their children are scheduled to be in care. This means that parents are paying for a space whether their child attends or not. Absent days are not discounted.
Payment is due on Monday at the beginning of each week for full-time and part-time, and at the time of drop-off for all others.
Payment can be made by cash or check. No post-dated checks will be accepted.
All hours outside your contracted hours need to be pre-arranged at least 24 hours in advance to avoid early drop-off and/or late pick-up fees. Any requests are subject to availability and my approval.
I offer both full-time and part-time care. Full-time positions will generally be preferred over part-time positions. I reserve the right to terminate a part-time position, if the position can be filled with a full-time family. You may opt to pay for a full-time slot in order to keep your part-time position.
Vacations and Absences:
· You are required to give two weeks advance notice for your vacation.
· Please call to inform me when your child will not attend due to illness or other event.
· Please advise me upon enrollment, if you plan to remove your child form childcare for any length of time (i.e. summer for school teachers, maternity leave, etc.)
Early drop-off fee = $10. If you are dropping off more than 10 minutes before your contracted drop-off time you will be charged a fee of $10.
Late pick-up fee = $10. If you are picking up more than 10 minutes past your contracted pick-up time you will be charged a fee of $10.
Sick Child Fee = $1 per minute (in addition to regular fees) if child is not picked up within one hour. If your child gets sick while in my care, you will be notified and the child will be removed from the group. You will have one hour to pick the child up or make arrangements for one of your emergency contacts to pick the child up. After one hour I charge a sick child fee of $1 per minute.
CHILD CARE HOLIDAY / VACATION SCHEDULE
In addition to the schedule below, I may need to take an occasional day off for personal or business reasons. (with the exception of sick days) When possible, I will arrange for a substitute caregiver to be here for the children but it may become necessary for you to find alternate childcare occasionally. Either way, you will be notified as far in advance as possible.
Holidays:
We will be closed on the following holidays:
* New Years Day
* Memorial Day
* Fourth of July
* Labor Day
* Thanksgiving
* The Day After Thanksgiving
* Christmas Eve
* Christmas Day
My Personal Vacation:
* Up to four weeks throughout the year for personal vacation. (Daycare fees are not charged during my vacation time unless I provide a substitute caregiver.)
Backup Child Care: I recommend that you have alternative childcare arrangements, if I am ill or when my assistants or I am on vacation. If I am ill you will be notified as soon as possible so you can make other arrangements. It is always your responsibility to find backup childcare. Returned check fee: $40 per check.
